Truth is.....Thursday

Truth is ......
Its Just so D*** hard not to love Mrs. Michelle Obama!

I always enjoy watching her on whatever she is on, whatever she is talking about. Just the way she speaks, how she present herself, her intelligence, her down-to-earthness lol, her family values, I just love her and the vibe she exudes. She has so much to say, to offer, to make a difference and she is such a inspiration for black women every where.

I feel as though she is part of my family. I always thought and have said that her and Barack remind me so much of my aunt and uncle. Just both of them, the way they carry their selves, the love that radiates from them every where they go, how they interact with one another, how they joke with one another; its just so real. You just feel like they are just like you. Because they are! Look where they came from and that is so amazing to see someone like who is The First Lady of our country.

I remember her talking about the photo they did not take down in their house which is the photo below...
(I believe I was watching Steve Harvey, when she said this...) that this photo is so iconic because the little boy asked him if he could touch his hair to see if it was like his and after he did he said yea it is like mine.

Just the way she talked about this photo and what makes it sooo important and iconic was sooo touching and true. Little black boys have someone to look up to, they have inspiration now, they now believe it is possible that they can make it far in this country and in this world regardless of their skin color. How amazing what one photo can express right?

I don't know about you, but I didn't pay attention to politics and really care about what was going on in our country until Barack ran for president. And now I just adore the entire family. I don't care what party you are with its so hard to watch them and not love them.

So truth is...Election day is coming up...
Truth is....It's extremely important that you vote...-every vote counts
Truth is...There is more history to be made...

Stay (I)nspired, Misha J
