Sunday night I tuned into the Oscar's and to some it is the most boring award show ever but for me it's interesting. I have dreams of one day gracing the stage to make my speech in thanking the Academy. Lol! This year's competition was steep. The movies were good and the acting even better. Let's take a look at a few....
Biggest winner of the night: Life of Pi
This movie took away more than four golden men...
Best Picture: Argo
I'm happy for Ben Affleck! He's been trying so hard to create a film that pleases the Academy!
Best Animated Film: Brave
I absolutely love this movie! If you haven't seen it, find it, buy it, watch it! It will change your life!
Best Actress: Jenifer Lawrence in Silver Linings Playbook
I have yet to see this one but I'm anxious to see her performance especially after this win! Did you see her fall, I think she was overjoyed!
Best Supporting Actress: Anne Hathaway in Les Miserable'
I've loved Anne Hathaway since the Princess Diaries! Check her out! Big things are to come!
Two films that didn't get there just do this year were Beast of the Southern Wild and Flight! Quvenzhane Wallis is on the come up and to learn those parts at age 4! Kudos! Denzel did an amazing job as the drug/alcohol addicted pilot who saved lives and only distroyed his own. As my grandma said, "maybe the role was too similar to others' previously played by him." However the film was still great!
