As of right now, on BET is the BET Honors. (So turn your channels now) Take a watch and allow these amazing people, black people I might add inspire you in whatever you do. As they show these stories of how they got to where they are today, it brings tears to my eyes, to know that people who look just like me can do so well in their life and their career and be happy.
Success is a journey not just a destination. It takes hard work, tears, pain, falls, to get there. And as Lisa Leslie said, there is no key to success, but as long as you work at it you'll get there.
So as you watch the BET honors tonight, think about who inspired you the most and how you can apply their qualities to your life and future.
