I was listening to my Jessie J earlier and I love a specific lyric in her song Nobody's Perfect.
"Treat the people you love like you want to be loved."
This is beyond true. Often times people throw around the word Love so much it no longer possess much meaning. People treat others all types of ways and always expect to get treated with love and respect in return. I'm not sure exactly how that adds up, but it is just plain wrong, especially when you don't take others' feelings into consideration.
Whether its a relationship or friendship TREAT THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE LIKE YOU WANT TO BE LOVED. Go above and beyond for those you love. Let you know how much they are appreciated.
Yes we are humans and we make mistakes, and when you make a mistake, don't just say you're sorry, show that you are sorry, and work towards building their trust again.
In my experiences with love in relationships, I am at a point in my life where I feel as though a lot of people especially men these days don't understand the meaning of the word LOVE, and for future loves I prefer that a man do not tell me he love me, even if he does, I just want to see it. That's all. Plain and simple....I just want to see it....That's just my preference and my opinion.
But think about what love is to you and how you feel about it when it comes to the relationships and friendships in your life.
