The Truth Is Simple

I've been thinking long and hard about what I wanted to address next with Truth is...Thurday. In my pondering, I realized that the truth is simple----we take each other for granted. That's it! The Truth Is...we take each other for granted. With the facets of social media and networks, the ever evolving ways of technology we have begun to overlook one another. Have you stopped and talked to your parents today or are you catching up with them via text or skype? When is the last time you sat in person with your friends to fill them in on your life happenings? What about calling them or sending a letter like people once did? Don't get me wrong, technology is good but it is getting us out of our way making us take each other for granted. Instead of calling your relatives on the weekend, you're looking them up on Facebook and Twitter. Your general response is, "oh, they're fine. They just uploaded a month worth of pictures of themselves in the mirror." It shouldn't be that way.

Look at how things have changed:

Please think about what I'm saying. When is the last time you told your loved ones, "I love you," sincerely? Hop to it! Remember stop taking each other for granted because tomorrow isn't promised and social networks don't provide all the answers to your human relationships.
