I am really liking this book! It's great because I've watched Waiting to Exhale tons of times with my mom and aunts...but what I am having trouble doing in my head is depicting what Issac looks like. If the sequal is made, who do you think would play Issac? I'm caught between the following people but he has to be old....I'm caught between Richard T. Jones, Rockmond Dunbar, or Tyler Perry. Yes. I said Tyler Perry!!! He would have to look similar to how he did in A Family That Preys though...This business co-siging business with Savannah and Issac is reminiscent to Cynthia and Peter from the Atlanta Housewives...I'm just saying!
What is going to lift Gloria's spirits? Poor Loretta Devine..ooops I mean Gloria!
After reading about the little rendevous to the aquarium, it kinda made me want to go too!
Now John, John, John...tsk tsk. No he didn't show up to his ex-wife's house trying to get some sympathy. Bernie is a good woman because she didn't throw anything in his face or say "karma's a bleep. Instead she's now going to play mommy to her 1st ex-husbands love child...smh!
This story just keeps building and getting better but I want to know what's going on with Robin and that little wild child.

Yea I'm really liking this book too! Its always something lol Im just mad you said Tyler perry lol Now we went to see Good Deeds and I just am not comfortable with him in relationships with women..its just awkward to me..even in the Why did I get married movies...I think the best pick out of the 3 would probably be Rockmond but Idk because Richard T Jones can play that A**hole role too so I dont know...I have to think on that one.
ReplyDeleteSomething big and miraculous will have to lift Glo's spirit because this woman is down and out and the girls are trying to help but she is not taking it. The only thing that seems to bring some joy are her grandkids.
Forget trying to go to the Aquarium lol Im mad they were both spilling out all of their true feelings and emotions to each other..I guess it bothered me because this type of thing always happen in relationships...The truth comes out after the fact...The communication comes after the fact and when there are problems in a relationship there should be communication first because by the time you get mad at the other person, break up or divorce them its too late...been there done that and I havent even been married...COMMUNICATION PEOPLE COMMUNICATION!
GURRRLLLL JOHN JOHN JOHN! Bernie is a good one because my burning pain would have thrown that in his face! KARMA! The same exact thing but ironically she was calm, concerned and trying to help in anyway that she could, which really makes me wonder why? Im not going to forget this because I know this has to be foreshadowing of something because that was real odd to me because I dont think she at a point in her life where she forgave this man 100% to react the way she did hmmmmm
And I kind of missed Robin and her little wild child in these chapters..Im sure they will be back soon enough
